Hi! I'm Elyse Sparkes.

I'm a Personal Trainer and a Core and Pelvic Floor Movement Rehab Specialist.

After years as a professional dancer stuck in a stressful loop of under-eating → binging → over-exercising, I realized this cycle was destructive to my mental and physical health. I experienced amenorrhea (loss of menstrual cycle) for seven years, and was worried about my reproductive and bone health.

I became passionate about healing my own relationship to my body and movement, and started to help others with their healing as well.

When I became a mom it became clear to me that I had been experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction for years and didn’t even realize these were issues I could improve (all women pee their pants a little bit, right?? Turns out… you don’t have to!).

I’m on a mission to help educate people about their pelvic anatomy and movement patterns so they can seek appropriate care, advocate for their healing, and be able to return to any and all activities they want with self-kindness and body confidence.

I've been honored to work with hundreds of private clients and program participants, and have taught workshops and group classes for companies such as Lululemon, Netflix, and The Foundation for Living Beauty.

  • OM Yoga Center 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher
  • Advanced Certification in Thai Yoga Massage from the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Center, additional certifications from David Lutt, the Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai, and private studies with Pichest Boonthume in Thailand
